SW Greek Villa’s undertones

SW Greek Villa has mild beige and yellow undertones. But of course, the way the color will look all depends on such factors as flooring color and the lighting in the space.  In north-facing rooms, the color will always look cooler than in south-facing rooms with ample natural light.

SW Greek Villa vs Alabaster

When choosing a color, my clients often want to know if Greek Villa is darker than Alabaster. Sherwin Williams Alabaster is another popular white color. Its’ LRV is 82, vs Greek Villa’s 84, which means that Alabaster is just a few points darker.

Which is more yellow Alabaster or Greek Villa?

Greek Villa is more yellow than Alabaster.  If you are choosing between the two colors think of the feel you want to create.  Alabaster will be a give more subtle feel, vs Greek Villa which will feel slightly brighter.

Both Alabaster and Greek Villa are popular white paint colors, so choosing one can be hard. If you can’t decide between them,  get a paint sample of each color and hang them up on the wall.  Look at them throughout the day to see how they change and which one you like better.
