How it runs

What happens, step by step.

  1. 01

    Book your consultation

The form below asks for the address, which areas we’re covering, and the decisions that matter most — so the visit itself is spent deciding rather than arranging.

  2. 02

    I arrive with the decks

We walk the rooms, or the elevations, or both. The decks come off the wall and go against the floor, the slab, the tile and the trim — which is the whole reason for doing it in person.

  3. 03

    Your colors, confirmed

By the end of the consultation, your paint colors will be selected and confirmed—so you can move forward without more samples or second-guessing. Complimentary 8 × 10 color samples will be mailed to you after the consultation.

Before you book

Questions worth asking.

How long is the visit, and what does it cost?

Consultations begin with a one-hour minimum. If additional time is needed, it is billed in 15-minute increments. Most consultations take one to two hours, depending on the size of the home and the number of areas being considered.

Do you only work with Sherwin-Williams colors?

Yes. All paint colors are selected exclusively from Sherwin-Williams and documented with the color name and number. This gives you a clear, consistent palette that is easy to sample, purchase, and share with your painter.

What area do you cover?

The Charlotte area. Travel within approximately 30 minutes of ZIP code 28104 is included. Locations approximately 31–60 minutes away require an additional $50 travel fee, which will be collected after booking. For locations more than one hour away, please contact me before booking.

Should I paint samples before you come?

If you already have, leave them up — they are useful evidence. If you have not, please do not start. The point of the hour is to narrow thousands of colors down to two or three, and buying samples first is exactly the spiral this is meant to end.
